Erosion

Erosion.

It will stand, it will stand no matter how hard the wind blows. It will stand no matter how heavy the crashes of the waves are, no matter how much erosion it faces; the great rock will stand. This is no impression on the beach sand, this isn't a temporary tattoo that can be washed away with soap and water. This is a monument that still rises and stands proudly, days go by, weeks and months pass, hell a series of centuries and a full millennium can elapse and still the rock stand. Changed yes, but there always; you can chip, cut, try to reshape it, try to hide it; make it as if it was never there. Still it's there, traces of it's touch linger on your skin and in your being. For you are the one that was changed, you're a divergent. So why do you assimilate as if you can etch away the presence of such a great rock? Do you think location and space will alter anything? You can eliminate all connection, all contact, and yet the modification of your being reveals to all where you have been.  A fair warning, erosion is gradual; never instant.
