Kick Start.
Kick Start.
A bullet to the heart, a stab to the back, a dose of dopamine, and shot of adrenaline; overdosed on pain, drowned in tears, blinded by madness, stricken by grief. All led to a kick start, a kick start to life, and a kick start to the next ride. Tapping the vein, injecting the next high directly in; let the wallowing end. Let the blood run down the cool skin, too late to heat it up; it was never warm to begin with. Dosed in kerosene, strike the match and watch it burn, billowing smoke coming from the remnants of the old self. Walking across the ashes, kicking them into the wind; let them be scattered. Let them stay on the bottom of your shoes, like the rest of the scum that belongs there.
